Michael Sherman is a leapling (aka a leap-year baby) – but don’t call him that to his face. Born on leap day (February 29th for the uninitiated), he only has a birthday every four years. That means Michael is currently only nine years old. But what a wealth of experience he’s accumulated in such a short time! In fact, Michael has been in the marketing/advertising industry for the past 15 years as an account executive, production manager, and SEO & social media specialist. For the past seven years, his focus and passion has been social media and digital marketing, specializing in content creation and strategy on top social media channels and blogs. Michael is the social media/marketing co-chair for the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA) and previous social media chair for the Florida Direct Marketing Association (FDMA). His experience spans a variety of industries including real estate, education, retail, healthcare, and hospitality. Michael grew up on Long Island, in the hamlet of Massapequa; home of Joey Buttafuco and Jerry Seinfeld. Though he’s lived in South Florida for the past 15 years, he remains a diehard New York Mets and New York Giants fan. He and his wife have a crazy little poodle named Charlotte. In dog years, would Michael be 63? You do the math.
